Malpani Tea Company was born in Bengenakhowa, in the heart of Assam’s greatest tea district. For nearly three decades, we’ve had a single focus — crafting CTC tea that carries the true character of this land: robust, unapologetic, and deeply satisfying.

  • 1997 - Where It All Began

    What started as a family venture in Bengenakhowa, Assam, became our entry into the world of tea. The early years were about understanding the land, learning the craft and building a business around one simple belief: good tea starts with getting the basics right.

  • 2010 - Growing, One Harvest at a Time

    By 2010, tea had become firmly rooted in the Malpani family. Years of working with the leaf, refining our processes and building experience shaped the way we make tea today. What began as a small beginning had grown into a tea business built on consistency, experience and patience.

  • 2026 - From Our Tea Gardens to Your Cup

    For years, our tea made its way to people through the wider tea trade. Now, we're taking a different step. With Kartickbari, we're bringing our own tea directly to the people who drink it, in our own name and in our own packs.
